COLLOQUY | A performance in dialogue with 'Rose Nolan: Breathing Helps'

is a new suite of performances choreographed by Shelley Lasica, reflecting Rose Nolan’s interdisciplinary approach to exhibition-making.

At Nolan’s invitation and presented in dialogue with , Lasica has created a choreographic series and an accompanying map based on forms of dialogue or colloquy. Rather than simply activating the exhibition, COLLOQUY weaves between interior and exterior spaces, offering a layered experience for performers, audience, and artworks alike.

Performed by Indiana Coole, Shelley Lasica and Thomas Woodman, the work unfolds within the exhibition, inside the Eva and Marc Besen Centre, and across the Museum’s grounds, on three specific dates only:

• Sunday 10 August, 1–2pm
• Sunday 14 September, 1–2pm
• Sunday 9 November, 1–2pm
  

This ticket to COLLOQUY includes general admission to enjoy Breathing Helps between opening hours 11am-5pm. This ticket includes access to the performance at 1pm. (limited capacity available)

The accompanying map, featuring a text by Lisa Radford, is available throughout the exhibition and offers spatial propositions to imagine the performance, whether present or not.

A return bus will run from Federation Square to TarraWarra for the performance on Sunday 9 November. You can book a seat when purchasing your ticket.
